Ian
Brown, CFI
Ian Brown has been flying since 1987 and has been teaching since
1993 and is the face behind the trips and courses abroad. Many
people may know Ian from Lakes Paragliding School.
Ian
Currer Ian has been been flying hang-gliders
since 1976 and paragliders since they were invented. Ian is author
of the paragliding bible 'Touching Cloudbase' and has chaired the
National Association's (BHPA) airworthiness panel and is an examiner
of instructors.
Pete Gallagher Pete is a co-director and owner of Sunsoar. An ex-sky diver, experienced instructor and tandem pilot; he runs training in South Wales and takes charge of many of our trips abroad as a change from teaching at the Joint Services Paragliding Centre.
Neil
Cruickshank
Neil has been flying since 1987 and has been a senior instructor
since 1991 and has taught both in the UK and abroad. He is a former member of the British Paragliding Team. Also a keen fisherman, sailor, woodworker and beekeeper. Neil maintains our websites.
Pete Morris Pete is a keen flyer and tandem pilot and deals with promos and demos at Northern Paragliding. He is also a very experienced pilot and instructor and is a key member of the Sunsoar team, helping run many trips abroad.
Pete Wood The newest member of our team Pete is a trainee instructor with Sunsoar. Pete is a skilled pilot and has extensive experience in teaching and coaching in the UK and abroad. In real life Pete is a tree surgeon.
Lynda Gribbon Lynda is our invaluable office manager and often the first point of contact for our customers.She takes our wholesale, retail and internet orders, answers customer queries, does stock control, invoices and generally looks after us really well..
